The second seminar continues the activities initiated the previous day and was dedicated to deepening participants’ knowledge of open-space fire prevention, risk management, and strengthening the operational readiness of local institutions. Participants had the opportunity to expand their understanding through case studies, practical examples, and discussion, focusing on the application of protection measures, coordination during emergency situations, and the importance of timely response.

Special attention was given to the role of local communities in the protection and rescue system, as well as the need to adapt existing procedures to the increased fire risks caused by climate change. Participants also discussed ways to improve institutional cooperation and the importance of regular training and knowledge dissemination within the community.

The organizers expressed satisfaction with the active engagement of participants and emphasized that the two seminars represent an important step toward strengthening the Municipality of Jezero’s capacity for fire risk management. Upcoming project activities were also announced, aimed at further enhancing the community’s resilience and safety through education, cooperation, and preventive measures.
