ISO 17025
The Institute for Protection and Ecology of the Republic of Srpska is a leading scientific research institution accredited in accordance with the BAS ISO/IEC 17025 standard, which affirms our expertise and reliability in conducting laboratory testing and technical measurements. This prestigious standard represents an internationally recognized framework that ensures the highest standards of quality and competence in laboratory services.
What We Do?
As an institution with longstanding experience and accreditation, we cover a wide range of areas, including:
- Air Quality Monitoring – Measurement of SO₂, CO₂, NO, NO₂, CO, O₃, and suspended particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5) concentrations in accordance with international standards.
- Emission Testing from Stationary Sources – Determination of mass concentrations of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and solid particles in flue gases.
- Electromagnetic Field Measurement – High and low-frequency fields in accordance with relevant standards for assessing general exposure.
Why ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation Is Important?
Accreditation under the BAS ISO/IEC 17025 standard allows us to ensure:
- Accuracy and reliability of results – Our laboratory operates in accordance with internationally recognized methods and procedures.
- Transparency and trust – The results of our tests are accepted both nationally and internationally.
- Continuous improvement – Accreditation requires regular reviews and process improvements to maintain the highest level of competence.
